Battling the spam

Dear visitor of the Quartam Software Forums,
You may have noticed that I've been steadily increasing the efforts to battle spam on these forums. If there hadn't been such a recent onslaught of registrations, advertising everything from pills to escorts, I wouldn't have had to introduce CAPTCHA and post moderation. But tightening the screws is just one aspect - I'm going through the members list to try and weed out the bad apples. This involves going to linked websites to check content, as well as banning IP addresses. If you are a customer and at any point your IP address got accidentally banned, email me through normal channels and I will re-instate access. I apologize for any inconvenience, caused by these measures, but I wanted to put a stop to this problem before it got completely out of control - as it is, it will take me a few evenings to get things straightened out.
Best regards,
Jan Schenkel.
