Reader for LiveCode

There are several PDF reading libraries, but few offer support for iOS and Android, and certainly none is integrated with LiveCode.
I'm sure for you it would be very feasible to launch such a product, that I think would be much appreciated (I certainly would buy).
Have you ever considered to doing it?

The focus of Quartam PDF Library for LiveCode has always been on output to a PDF file.
That is not to say I wouldn't be interested in adding reading capabilities in a future version - e.g. to allow using existing files as templates.
What features are you looking for exactly?

Hi Jan,
We work in the area of newspaper publications for tablets and phones, (iOS, Android and perhaps other systems later). In my company currently develop reader apps native and separately, because we have not found a multiplatform framework that satisfies us.
On the other hand, for other applications, we are beginning with LiveCode pretty excited, and it would be ideal for us to develop our PDF reader with the same tool.
For your part, I think it would be great if you provide a multiplatform API with generic reading functions which would allow integration with the rest of LiveCode features.

Thank you for clarifying your background and goals.
It sounds like you're not simply looking for a way to extract data from existing PDF files, but also to display PDF files in LiveCode.
That would be a massive undertaking, especially as LiveCode doesn't have baked in support for transformations.
